Technical Practices - PCH

Specialized praxis in the company focused on food technologie. Students will be familirized with function of concrete subject, from aspect of technologie, operation and development. They know the purpose of communication a cooperation by practical application of teoretical knowledge. The subject is appointed above all for students with own contacts with biotechnological companies, where they can arrange the practice on their own.
Learning outcomes of the course unit
The knowledge of concrete manufacturing or development practice, technologie in manufacture focused on biotechnological production.
To have mastered subjects of common basis and some selected special subjects.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course uses teaching methods in form of seminars - 6 teaching hours per week. The e-learning system (LMS Moodle) is available to teachers and students.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
The condition to achieve the credit is regular attendance to the manufacture, where the practice is carried out, managament of carried out work and elaboration of presentation about the knowledges achieved during practice. Graduation of practice has to be supported by confirmation of the manufacture company/can be part of the time sheet/
Language of instruction
Outline of the subject is designed through agreement between faculty and manufacture, where the practice will be carried out.
The aim of specialized practise is that students will be testing their teoretical knowledge , achieved during the study a will be able quicker meet requirements of future employer.
Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
Students must elaborate a summary presentation about practise by units and establishments of basic elements . As a part of credit will be presentation of written document, which must be done according to the garantee of subject.
