Learning outcomes of the course unit

The theoretical part of the MFA dissertation is the outcome of the course. It is a textual commentary and docummentation of the practical part of the disseration - the artwork. The length should be 15 - 20 000 signs (8 - 11 normal pages - 300 words per page).
The theoretical part consists of: a short abstract, introduction (motivation, inspiration sources), the aim of the works and its benefits; a basic description of the work/s; setting the context within art/visual theory.
From a formal perspective, the text has to be written in correct Czech both from the grammar and stylistic viewpoint. It does not necessarily have to be an academic text (however, if it does contain bibliography and notes, these should meet the formal criteria). What is crucial, though, is the reliability of facts and accuracy.

Students have to be already able to work with structured information, academic texts, and capable of their own theoretical reflections.
