We are launching registration for the BUT Junior I. educational programme!
Do you have a curious child at home who is passionate about technology, art, or natural sciences? Brno University of Technology has opened registration for the upcoming edition of the BUT Junior I. children's academy!
The popular BUT Junior I. extracurricular program has been introducing students in the final years of primary school and the lower years of multi-year grammar schools to the university environment, modern technologies, and cutting-edge scientific discoveries for many years. Through the program, children will have fun and interactive experiences with various scientific disciplines and get a look into laboratories, workshops, and studios.
Teaching takes place from September to June, one Saturday per month at the faculties and departments of Brno University of Technology. The program includes a matriculation ceremony and final graduation to provide an authentic university experience. Children can look forward to lectures, workshops, experiments, and other interactive activities led by experienced experts from BUT.
A new addition to the program is a special track for parents. While children are learning, parents will explore university facilities and engage in discussions about current scientific topics that shape our society.
The capacity for the 2025/2026 academic year is 100 participants. More information, including the schedule, is available on the BUT Junior website. The registration itself can be found on the newly launched university e-shop.
