O projektu

CzechNanoLab je distribuovaná velká výzkumná infrastruktura v provozní fázi, která se skládá ze dvou pracovišť: 1. Středoevropský technologický institut (pracoviště CEITEC Nano) se nachází v Brně, hostitelem je Vysoké učení technické v Brně a spoluhostitelem Masarykova univerzita. Pracoviště CEITEC Nano bylo uvedeno do provozu v roce 2016 jako strategická rozsáhlá investice do výzkumné infrastruktury, která má mimo jiné využít tradice Brna, díky níž je dnes světovou Mekkou elektronové mikroskopie. 2. V Praze se nachází pracoviště Laboratoře nanostruktur a nanomateriálů (LNSM), které hostí Fyzikální ústav Akademie věd ČR spolu s Univerzitou Karlovou. LNSM se nachází v pražském ústavu, kde byl v roce 1949 sestrojen jeden z prvních tranzistorů mimo Bellovy laboratoře. V průběhu desetiletí ústav získal své dnešní laboratoře a zařízení pro výzkum nanostruktur a nanoelektroniky.
