Analytical Chemistry II

Physical aspects of analytical methods. Principles of selected instrumental methods-spectrometric and electroanalytical methods, their qualitative and quantitative aspects and practical examples. Principles of selected separation methods, principles of chromatographic and electromigration methods. Evaluation of analytical results. Basic of chemometry. Preparation and decomposition of inorganic, organic and biological samples for analysis.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Knowledge of selected instrumental and separation methods and their applications on real objects.
Evaluation of analytical results and uncertainities. Sampling and preparation and decomposition of samples of various kind.

Selected electroanalytical and spectrometric methods.
Principles of chromatographic and electromigration methods.

Aims

The aim of the course is to survey selected analytical methods and procedures used to solve real practical problems and to train students in chemometrical evaluation of analytical results.
