Relaxation Techniques

CESA-TV-RECVAcad. year: 2023/2024

Relaxation means a way to release internal tension. It is a deliberate relaxation, both mentally and physically. It is the natural opposite of the stress response. Not only a lack of exercise, but also poor eating habits, smoking and stress with a lack of rest and time for favorite activities causes us excessive tension. If this burden affects us in the long term, it will most likely have a negative effect on our health in the future. Therefore, the art of relaxation, the ability to relax and get rid of tension, rest and regain lost strength is one of the most important ways to manage the excessive load on the body.
The ability to relax is a prerequisite for mental balance. A person who controls relaxation tends to have stronger mental and physical health and is generally happier with his life. Relaxation is a suitable means of combating various difficulties - headaches, anxiety, chronic pain, hypertension, etc. It has been shown that the effectiveness of relaxation techniques is higher than just placebo alone.
