Construction industry is the branch for which is typical group and teamwork. Course deals with specific activities and managing the workgroups in the construction industry. Traces the development and dynamics of the teamwork.

Course curriculum

1. Leading ability and skills, meaning of theory of managemet and leading of people, history, basic notions and literature.
2. Motivating and methods of positive stimulation, piramid of needs, consideration and appreciation, interestingness of work, responsibility and dependance, theory X and Y, the two factors theory – motivational hygienic.
3. Definition of load, identification with aim and load, distribution of general to concrete. Planning (methods, how to get to aim, finding of alternatives, size of participation, building-up creativity, instruments of generating ideas).
4. Training and its functios, fundamentals of efficient speech. Communication and coaching of organization and individuals.
5. Control and management, meeting managing, managing in organizations, methods of control, managemant systems.
6. Evaluation, looking over results, deciding and evaluating of team efficiency, evaluating and training of individuals, questioning, people selecting and reporting, self-valuation.
7. Organisation, organisating of groups and sub groups, leading of leaders, organisation of organisation and their survey, factors of work groups size, organisation structure, dependence and delegation.
8. Self-example leading and team management, self-organisation, deciding in managerial work.
9. Characteristics of working groups. Individuals, work teams, organisations and communities.Group participation, communication and solidarity, atmosphere, standards, structure and organisation.
10. Basic role and functions in groups. Characteristics of roles, their types, conflicts of roles and role of leading worker.
11. Tied together needs in group life, their basic demonstrations.Needs and function of leading and its asic categories (instigation, regulation, information, assistance, evaluation).
12. Processes in group life time (formation, agitation, standardization = solidarity building). Team rules and procedures (deciding, reactions to authority, conflict and getaway, defensive mechanismes). Teams in teams, relation management between teams.
13. Teams and team work, sequential teams in building industry, establishment and upkeeping of high duty teams. Leading styles, leader and his basic liabilities. Actual questions of leading and management.

Obtaining knowledge of manager of company in leading of work teams, in communication and progress of individual. Ability to overmaster basic work of manager in company.
