Construction Process Technology II.

Technology of manufacture and assembly of wood structures. Manufacture and assembly of structural steelworks. Manufacture of precast reinforced concrete structures and their assembly. Erection of enclosing and roof envelopes of buildings. Realisation of building insulations. Assemblies of opening fillings. Surfacing of walls and ceilings, plasters, linings. Laying of concrete, ceramic and stone pavements. Realisation of timber, covering and composition floors. Painting, coating and wall covering works. Completing of buildings, preparation for building approval.

Course curriculum

Execution of masonry structures. Brick, and stone masonry, principles of masonry bonds, types of bonds. Walling of Porotherm blocks, principles of module division and execution. Types of stonework walling and principles of its bond.
Execution of timber structures. Classic and state-of-the-art trusses, glued structures and their assembly. Timber constructions, principles of manufacture and assembly.
Assembly of steel structures. Production of structural elements, their transportation and storing. Readiness of the site for assembly, assembly methods and procedures.
Heavy assembly of reinforced concrete semi-products. Production, transportation and storing of semi-products. Readiness of the site for assembly, assembly procedures. Assembly quality monitoring.
Special assembly procedures. Spatial semi-product application, lifted ceilings, principle, production principles and building realization.
Building of peripheral and roof claddings of buildings. Silicate, sandwich and metal-plastic claddings – assembly principles. Execution of small unit coatings.
Tinsmith work and other roofer´s works. Manufacture and assembly of tinsmith products, metal sheet roofing. Roofing of flat roofs with asphalt and plastic bands.
Building insulations. Execution of building insulation against pressure water and earth humidity. Execution of thermal, acoustic and anti-vibration insulations and radon insulations.
Additional padding warm of buildings.
Installation procedures. Interior drains, water conduits, gas ducts, central heating, air handling equipment and electric installations, time integration and principles of their execution.
Assembly of hole fillings. Installation of joiner´s and locksmith´s products. Glassing on buildings, making structures of glass-concrete and Copollit blocks.
Wall and ceiling treatment. Application of interior and exterior plasters. Thin-surface plasters, sprayings, jointing. Thermal insulating reinforced plasters.
Technology of lining and tiling jobs. Execution of interior and exterior facings, large format facings on supporting grids, lining of walls with stone plates. Installation of classical and hydro-insulating paving, procedures, sealants, jointing.
Execution of floors. Execution of classical and self-levelling cobs and screeds. Laying of timber floors, gluing of floor surfaces of plastics, making floors with poured synthetic coatings.
Wall painting and coating works. Material and application technology. Wall paper hanging of walls and ceilings – working procedures. Competing of buildings – installation of sanitary equipment, fastening technology.

·Acquiring knowledge of selected construction processes, on requirements for their readiness before execution, source budgeting, principles of technology procedures of individual construction processes, their sequence and links, their quality, safety and environmental requirements in the course of their realization.
