The content of subject are practical tasks of Bioengineering I. solving biorector operations (mixing, aeration, etc.) and cultivation possibilities (batch, fed-batch and continuous system).

Participation in the seminar, preparation and submission of written reports on all tasks in the laboratory diary, presentation, final test.

2. Determination of basic biotechnological parameters
3. Ultrafiltration of proteins, characterization of purification process
4. Cultivation in bioreactor
5. Analysis of cultivation in bioreactor
6. Presentation of the results, test

Aims

The aim is to introduce for students practical bioengineering techniques in laboratory conditions and a better understanding of previously acquired theoretical knowledge of bioengineering.
