Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will acquire basic knowledge about sanitation installations, gas and electrical installations, which needs to know the architect. Such knowledge is processing his bachelor and master thesis and subsequent practice. Students will acquire basic knowledge especially on drainage systems, water installations, gas installations pipeworks, placement of gas appliances and electrical installations in buildings.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge about constructional systems of buildings, hydromechanics and electric current.

Co-requisites

Teaching in the subject relates to architectural design studio.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations. The lectures include elaboration of basic principles, design methods and standard cases solutions. During practices the students practice calculations and relevant solutions for individually submitted building. The practices will be applied to modern teaching methods using interactive presentation. They can see models of building services systems and its accessories in the

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Conditions for successful completion of the course are attendance, submission of assigned projects and calculations and pass the exam.
