Theory of Management

FP-RtmDAcad. year: 2017/2018

To create preconditions for doctoral students to handle management theoretically. To take over possibilities of structuralisation, to understand individual approaches and their scientifical aplicability, to allow for environment necessary condition for real working.

The course is focused on restructuralisation of management by functions, elements, distribution of work. Structuralisation is provided by objects, theritory, customer.

Students will know modern approaches and aplications of management.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of company management in scale of lectures Management I. and II., basic knowledge of economical sciences.

Teaching methods are: lecture, team and individual presentaions, managed discussion, worshops. Lectures of invited experts - "best practices".

Structuralisation by object, theritory, customer.
Two types of human management approaches - interpersonal connections, behaviorism.
Production management, operations management.
System approach.
Contingency approach.
Change management.
Knowledge management.
Process management.

Aims

To create preconditions for doctoral students to understand and apply base od course and understand theoretical approaches to management gives possibility to create doctoral dissertation thesis.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Recommended visit of study meetings, preparation of assignment.
