Students will lear how to make a "clean" low-polygonal model including UV mapping, texturing, Ambient Occlusion. 3D scene with lighting and rendering.

Prerequisites

Working knowledge with PC, the knowledge of Photoshop is welcome.

1. Introduction to 3D editors and polygonal modelling principles
2. Softimage - interface
3 - 6. Softimage - modelling - Star Treck cruiser referential model
7. Softimage - UV mapping, Ambient Occlusion, Star Treck cruiser referential model
8. Softimage - setting up the scene, render, Star Treck cruiser referential model
9 - 10. Softimage - making a model from the students' own reference object
