Basics of mathematical statistics, methods of measurement of physical chemistry values, Excel, ORIGIN.

Credit – The oral exam, where knowledge from lectures and recommended literature will be evaluated.
Part of credit is semestral project focused on chosen topic/method of data processing. Project structure: Reference to the theoretical background, practical example, example of unsuitable application, conclusion, information sources. Form: .ppt or .doc file, about 5 min speech, tables, diagrams, charts.

Basic ideas of applied statistics, normal distribution, the types of errors and their estimations, correct rounding, testing outliers, regression analysis, convolution and deconvolution, distribution curves, analysis of images, disturbances and background, validation, screening, graphic interpretation of results, tools MS Excel and Origin.
