Corporate Management is an introductory course intended to provide basic knowledge of management, its methods, structure and methods. It is is focused on specification of individual trading companies. The course deals especially with the following topics: knowledge of the principle, goals and structuralization of management. Requirements laid on managers, his expected qualities and role. Structuralization of management according to the functions and elements. Detailed explanation of individual elements. Planning, organisation, stimulation and control. Decision-making process.

  7. Investment subject: limited company.
  8. Investment subject: joint stock company.
  9. Organising - organisation structure, principles of establishing, typology. Structure, demonstration of used structure.
  10. Stimulation.
  11. Motivation: reasons, types, applications.
  12. Control, controlling - meaning, ways, applications.
  13. Methods and tools of management.

Aims

The main objective of the course is to provide students with knowledge of fundamentals of marketing, its terms, content, structuralization and methods.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Active participation in seminars regarding presented topics, participation in discussion, quality. >Presentation of semester work on given topic, knowledge test.
Attendance at lessons and exercises 13x 4 hours 52 hours.
Continuous preparation for seminars (individual study of literature)
Case study solution.
Semester work elaboration.
Preparation for final exam.
Final exam and discussion over semester work.
In case of excused absence from seminars, the teacher can set an additional condition if appropriate, usually elaboration of partial written task.
