About the International Evaluation Panel (IEP)
IEP is composed of esteemed experts with strong academic or professional credentials. Members must have:
- Active research and publishing records,
- Experience in leading research projects (including international ones),
- Membership in professional bodies,
- Experience with managing research institutions,
- Prior involvement in research evaluation.
IEP follows official statutes and procedures issued by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
Members of the IEP must meet the conditions of impartiality, as stipulated in the statute, rules of procedure, and a solemn declaration, based on the principles of Methodology 17+.

Petr Noskievič
Petr Noskievič began his career in industry, designing control systems of machines and equipment with hydraulic drives. Since 1994, he has been working at the VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, focusing on modelling, simulation, and control of electrohydraulic drives and mechatronic systems, including the development of digital twins. He lectures on Modelling and Simulation of Mechatronic Systems, System Identification and Simulation, and Control of Fluid Actuators.

He has supervised 29 master’s theses and six PhDs, and is the guarantor of the Mechatronics master's and Control of Machines and Processes doctoral programs. He served as Vice-Rector for Study Affairs (2003–2017) and Deputy Rector (2016–2017) at the VSB. He was a member of the Presidium of the Council of HEIs in the Czech Republic (2012–2018) and, since 2018, has been serving on the Board of the National Accreditation Bureau for Higher Education, overseeing fields such as Electrical Engineering, Informatics, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering.

Christiane Fülscher
Christiane Fülscher is an architect and architectural historian. Her research focusses on the history and theory of architecture since 1900, with a particular emphasis on modernism and post-war modernism in Eastern and Western Europe as well as the cultural and socio-political relevance of architecture. Since 2022, she has been Professor of Architectural History, Theory and Preservation at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts and researches architectural networks and design theory at German architecture faculties at the beginning of the 20th century.

She studied architecture at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and art history at the University of Hamburg and worked in architectural offices in Hamburg, Porto Alegre (Brazil) and near Darmstadt. She was a research associate at the Institute for Architectural History at the University of Stuttgart and at the Department of Architectural Theory and Science at the Technical University of Darmstadt for many years and held teaching positions at Vilnius Tech, TU Darmstadt, and the Munich University of Applied Sciences.

Aylin Yildirim Tschoepe
Aylin Yildirim Tschoepe, Ph.D. Anthropology (Harvard University GSAS), Doctor of Design (Harvard University GSD), MSc Inclusive Design (Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences) is professor of design anthropology at the Basel Academy of Art and Design, University of Applied Sciences and Arts FHNW, and guest lecturer at the University of Basel. She connects experience as an architect, designer, anthropologist, gender studies and urban studies scholar.

As head of metaLAB (at) Basel and head of research at the Institute Contemporary Design Practices, Prof. Tschoepe pursues and fosters collaborative research that brings together design, technology, life sciences, and social sciences. Her research focuses on future health and the material and immaterial intersections of bodies, spaces, and ecologies, exploring these through a multimodal framework of design research, and feminist spatial practice, expanded scenography, sensory and design ethnography.

Harald Garrecht
Prof. Dr. Harald Garrecht is a civil engineer and materials scientist. From 2020 until his retirement in 2024, he served as the head of the Institute of Construction Materials at the University of Stuttgart and as director of the Materials Testing Institute (MPA) at the University of Stuttgart. His research focuses on the effects of mechanical loads and environmental influences on construction materials, the development of environmentally friendly and resource-efficient materials, the recycling of demolition waste, and the preservation and rehabilitation of existing building materials. Since 2011, he has been President of WTA International, the Association for Science and Technology of Building Maintenance and Monument Preservation.

Polona Žnidaršič Plazl
Prof. Dr. Polona Žnidaršič Plazl is a professor at University of Ljubljana, where she earned Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Master’s in Biochemistry, and PhD in Biochemical Engineering. She has extensive research experience in the USA and Europe, including work at Oregon State University supported by a Fulbright Grant. She co-founded and leads the Microprocess Engineering Research Group at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of University of Ljubljana, where she leads several international and national research projects.

Her current research interests focus on development of biocatalytic and separation processes in microflow systems. Among others, she is a Main Board member of the European Society of Applied Biocatalysis (ESAB) and an initiator and Co-Chair of the conference series Implementation of Microreactor Technology in Biotechnology (IMTB)./div>

Elīna Gaile-Sarkane
Prof. Dr. Elīna Gaile-Sarkane is the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Riga Technical University. She has previously served as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Economics and Management and Chair of the University Senate. Her academic interests include innovation management, technology transfer, new product development, strategy, and change management. As Director of the doctoral program in Management Sciences and Economics, she has supervised over 10 successful doctoral dissertations.

Prof. Gaile-Sarkane has also contributed as an expert in doctoral promotion and dissertation development both in Latvia and internationally. She has led over 25 scientific projects and has a strong publication record. She is an expert for the Latvian Academy of Sciences and works in accreditation and quality assurance for higher education, collaborating with EU agencies. She is a board member of NORDTEK, T.I.M.E. Association, BMDA, and VPC, and actively participates in various international organizations.

Robert Schürhuber
Prof. Schürhuber studied electrical engineering and technical mathematics at the Vienna University of Technology, where he also received his PhD in 2002 in the field of theoretical electrical engineering. He then worked in industry for 15 years in various areas of power engineering, including the control and regulation of thermal plants, the planning and design of electrical plants, and system aspects of large-scale hydropower. In 2017, he was appointed to the Graz University of Technology, where he has since headed the Institute of Electrical Power Systems.

Alan Chalmers
Prof. Alan Chalmers is a Professor of Visualisation at WMG, University of Warwick, UK and a former Royal Society Industrial Fellow. He has an MSc with distinction from Rhodes University, 1985 and a PhD from University of Bristol, 1991.

He is a former Vice-President of ACM SIGGRAPH, has published over 270 papers in journals and international conferences on virtual flavour, virtual archaeology, and High Dynamic Range imaging, successfully supervised 53 PhD students and been investigator on many UK and EU grants. He is a UK representative on IST/37 considering standards within MPEG, a STEM advisor to a local school, and a Town Councillor, and recently Mayor, for Kenilworth where he lives.

Jozef Zajac
Prof. Zajac earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology with a focus on Nanotechnology and completed his PhD at the Technical University in Košice in 1994. He habilitated in Production Engineering in 2004 and was appointed Professor of Production Technologies in 2008. Prof. Zajac is closely involved in the Computer-Aided Manufacturing Technologies study program, teaching courses such as “Production Technologies”, “Innovation and Technology Transfer”, and “Modern Processing Technologies”, and oversees quality in habilitation and inauguration procedures.

His research focuses on innovative technologies and process diagnostics. He has supervised 23 PhD students, serves on nine scientific councils, Commission No. 2 of KEGA (Slovak Cultural and Educational Grant Agency), and the Cooperation Council of the City of Prešov. He has authored/co-authored 20 monographs, 24 patents, and 255 papers (100 indexed in WoS/SCOPUS, 889 citations). Prof. Zajac received several awards including “TOP Quality Manager 2010” and “Outstanding University Lecturer 2021“.

Salvador Pané i Vidal
Prof. Dr. Salvador Pané i Vidal is Professor of Materials for Robotics at ETH Zurich’s Institute of Robotics and Intelligent Systems and co-director of the Multi-Scale Robotics Lab. He leads the lab’s electrochemistry laboratory, teaches nanorobotics, and supervises Ph.D. research. His work integrates chemistry and electrochemistry with small-scale robotics, focusing on miniaturizing magnetic materials, conductive polymers, and hydrogels for biomedical use.

He has authored 200+ publications and coordinated major EU projects like MANAQA and ANGIE. Prof. Pané holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Barcelona and joined ETH in 2008. He has received ERC Starting, Consolidator, and Proof-of-Concept Grants, and led the COST Action “e-MINDS.” He serves on editorial boards, represents Switzerland in EAST, and co-founded startups Magnes AG, Oxyle AG, and Swiss Vascular AG. In 2023, he was elected a corresponding member of the Institut d’Estudis Catalans.

Davor Dujak
Davor Dujak is a full professor and a Head of the Department of Marketing at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek (part of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Croatia), where he leads the master's program in Supply Chain Management. He has extensive experience in logistics, SCM, and retail marketing, both in academia and industry. He was the Head of the Centre of Business Excellence and a logistics specialist at the Łukasiewicz Research Network in Poland. He has managed and contributed to EU projects including BAS4SC (ERASMUS+) and PLANET (Horizon 2020).

Prof. Dujak has authored 59+ papers, two scientific books, four textbooks, and presented at 35+ international conferences. He is on editorial boards of several journals and has taught across Europe through ERASMUS+. His teaching blends theory with practice, preparing students for real-world challenges in logistics and supply chains.
