The paper is focused on the determination of statistical fracture-mechanical parameters values from fracture test in 3-point bending configuration. Two basic approaches are used: (i) effective crack model / work-of-fracture method, (ii) inverse analysis using artificial neural networks and virtual stochastic simulations. In order to automate the whole time consuming process of inverse analysis a FraMePID-3PB software tool has been developed.
