Originální abstrakt

When developing plaster mixtures it is important to know the development of the mechanical properties of the developed materials depending on time. Knowledge of the increase of the strength and modulus of elasticity is important from the viewpoint of the application of plaster systems in practice. This primarily concerns the determination of the minimum time for maturing plasters from the viewpoint of the surface treatment application and also from the viewpoint of the production of plasters with more layers. In the case of the ultrasound impulse method, on the basis of the knowledge of the speed of ultrasound waves, it is possible to determine the expected values of the compressive strength of the materials and value of the modulus of elasticity. The advantage when using the ultrasound impulse method is that it concerns a non-destructive method during which there is no damage to the test sample. In this manner it is possible to decrease the necessary volume of testing bodies when executing (rationalization of testing work) and it is highly advantageous that the measurement is taken during the whole time on the same test set which excludes the influence of anomalies between the individual testing bodies within further sample test sets.
