Originální abstrakt

In this paper several methods of numerical representation for DNA sequences are described. Numerical representations are suitable for preprocessing of DNA sequences before their processing by deterministic methods. Study of five chosen numerical representations were done on the basis of similarity analysis by distance matrix. The aim of the study was to identify influence of the numerical representation on the results of similarity analysis. New numerical representation suitable for similarity analysis will be designed according to results of the study.
