Response analysis of a four storey dwelling house to mining induced sesimic event has been carried out. The seismogram selected to characterize the "typical mining induced seismic event" for an important mining area has been used to derive the computation model of the seismic ground motion. The responses of the structure using a sophisticated FEM model have been computed. Numerical sismic analyses of selected structures combined with field measurement results contribute to generalization of knowledge enabling the prediction of economic up keeping of houses.
