In this work, we present a high-gain, low-profile circularly polarized 8×8 element antenna array operating in Ka-band at 35 GHz. The antenna is a great fit for establishing a communication link between a CubeSat and ground station. The performance was validated using full-wave simulation. Finally, a prototype of the antenna was manufactured by 3D-printing and its performance was measured.
