It is shown in the paper that, in addition to the resistor, capacitor, inductor, also the memristor, memcapacitor, meminductor and other electrical elements from Chua’s periodical table of the so-called higher-order elements have their analogies in other branches of science. A generalization of this table is made via the through-across approach.
