This study deals with ecotoxicity assessment of fire-fighting foaming agents, which are most frequently used by Fire Rescue Unit in South Moravian region in the Czech Republic. As test organisms for ecotoxicological testing were selected organisms Thamnocephalus platyurus, Daphnia magna, Sinapis alba, Lemna minor, Lactuca sativa and Eisenia fetida. Selected agents Sthamex F-15, Expyrol F-15, Finiflam F-15, Moussol-APS F-15 and Pyrocool B have been proved as highly toxic for organisms of nature ecosystems.
