Doctoral education provides to the graduates with Master's degree in the field of company management and economics higher level of education deepening theoretical knowledge.
The aim of doctoral study branch is to teach methods of scientific work.

A graduate of doctoral study is capable of independent scientific, research and directive work.
He is ready to tackle challenging conceptual, research and development problems in management and economics. He is able to carry out research, development and production independently in practice.
Graduate can find fulfilment as a creative worker at leading research centers, as a leader of research and development teams, as a research worker and teacher at universities. Graduates of this program may also occupy high positions in some of the larger institutions and companies that require the ability to work creatively and independently, to analyze complex problems and propose a new and original solutions.

    The aim of the thesis shall be to investigate and assess potential aspects of the impact of asymmetric information on the behaviour and economics of an enterprise. The thesis shall use both secondary data and the data collected on the basis of own surveys in enterprises active in the selected field. With regard to the fact, that this issue has not been explored well enough in the international context (not even in the Czech Republic), the thesis is expected to result in theoretical conclusions and generalization of the given issue.

    Currently, there are increased risks for all participants in the procurement process and execution of public contracts.     The aim of the thesis shall be to assess the mutual relation between competitiveness of enterprise and its participation in public contracts. The analytical part of the thesis will be based on publicly available secondary data, while also assuming the use of primary data collected during surveys in enterprises. The student will assess the impact of competitiveness on the success of an enterprise in public tenders, and subsequently investigate whether repeated awarding of public contracts influences the economics of an enterprise.

    Interpretation of competitiveness based on absolutely exact and quantitative approaches is a false assumption. That is why qualitative approaches are applied more intensively in the research of competitiveness.
