Goal of the thesis is usage of anaerobic membrane technology for treatment of municipal wastewater. Work will be carried on pilot plant of AdMaS centre based on WWTP Brno - Modřice. Within the work will be verified possibility of treatment of low loaded wastewater and optimised operational parameters (load of anaerobic reactor, load of membrane and their regeneration etc.).
Tutor: Hlavínek Petr, prof. Ing., CSc., MBA
Main goal of the thesis is design, testing and pilot testing of technology for cellulose separation from wastewater followed by energetic utilization. Technology for cellulose separation from wastewater will be developed. Based on laboratory testing pilot plat will be developed and tested on selected municipal WWTP´s.
Main goal of the thesis is evaluation of microwave pyrolysis of sewage sludge. Final product is oil, gas and Carbon. Work will be carried on pilot plant of microwave pyrolysis in AdMaS Centre. Work will be carried on in cooperation with faculty of chemistry and company BIONIC.
The aim is to analyze internal erosion failure at hydraulic structures by probabilistic methods. During the solution the uncertainties in input parameters will be assessed, the failure probability will be estimated via random sampling procedures. Partial aims are analysis of failure modes of water structures due to filter deformation, defining conditions of limit state and deriving partial reliability factors.
Tutor: Říha Jaromír, prof. Ing., CSc.
The aim is to design and validate methods of reliability assessment of hydraulic structures using limit states method. Partial aims are analysis of failure modes of hydraulic structures, defining conditions of limit state and deriving partial reliability factors for selected limit states.
