Course curriculum

1. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation in adults. Assessment, examination, evaluation of basic vital functions. Insufficient breathing, breathing failure, blockage of air passages, techniques maneouvres and aids for restoration of breathing, support beathing, artificial breathing. Cardiac arrest, blood circulation failure, indirect heart massage, precordial stroke, resuscitation, indications, length, stabilised postiion. 2. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation in children. Specificities of resuscitation in children and newborns, the sequence and length.Some urgent health disorders in children. 3. Types of bleeding, stopping of bleeding, Types of wounds, treatment, arterial, venous, capillary bleeding. Pressure points, pressure bandage, rubger bandage, bleeding for body apertures, internal bleedding, shock and antishock measures. Minor injuries, scalping and loss injuries, amputations, burns, bandaging. 4. Injuries of chest and abdomen. Fractures, injuries of joints and muscles. Types of fractures, complications, immobilisation, fixation, splint techniques, injury of axial skeleton, transport. 4. Consultations, test.

1. Urgent resuscitation I. assessment, basic vital functions, freeing of air passages of the respiratory system, artificial breathing
2. Urgent resuscitation II.
cardiac arrest, blood circulation failure, heart massage, cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques
3. Urgent resuscitation in children. Acute health disorders.
4. Bleeding. Shock.
5. Unconsciousness. Convulsions.
6. Injuries of the head, neck, spine, pelvis. .
7. Injuries of the chest, abdomen, limbs.
8. Injury by heat, cold, electric current, chemicals.
9. Traffic accidents, disasters - large numbers of injured , polytraumatic situations. Acute states in diabetics.
10. Injuries and acute eye impairment.
11. Acute states in gynecology and obstetrics.
12. Pain in the chest. Drowning.
13. Poisoning. Snakebite, animal biting, insect biting, allergical reactions.

3. Specifities, sequences, length.
4. Bleeding, shock – arterial, venous bleeding, pressure bandage, rubber bandage, special types of bleeding from ears, nose, oral cavity, internal bleeding, shock
5. Types of . Minor injuries, scalping and loss injuries, amputations, burns, injuries of the chest and abdomen
6. Fractures, injuries of joints and muscles, types of fractures, immobilisation, fixation, splint techniques, axial skeleton injury, transport.
