Basics of Anatomy and Histology

FEKT-AANAAcad. year: 2010/2011

Foundations of anatomy are composed as a major morphological field of study with clinical notes for all types of Bachelor study, some chapters offer more detailed explanation – e.g. the locomotory system for physiotherapeuts, digestive system for the specialisation Nutrition, etc. Selected anatomical and clinical aids are demonstrated.. Foundations of histology provide an overview of the microscopic and submicroscopic structure of cells, tissue and organs. The knowledge of these issues is essential for understanding of the fundamental control mechanisms in human organism and for understanding of the functions of individual organs.
