Acoustics and Sound - winter

FaVU-AAZ-ZAcad. year: 2010/2011

A wide-ranged course which interconnects a theoretical basics with practical examples, followed by exercises and students' projects. No previous study is required, although some experience with music is an advantage. Some of the lessons will be devoted to "courses of strict improvisation".

Aims

The course acquaints the students with sound, its sources in the area of musical instruments, makes students familiar with a recording studio and teaches them about the work in it: sound recording and editing.
