The Borders of Art

In 2009/10 the course is taught by Mgr. Ondřej Váša.
The course will present the following questions: what is an artwork, its essence? The course is based on the works of the following philosophers and theoretitians: Brecht, benjamin, Foulcaut, Derrida, Adorno, Danto, Dickie, Krauss, Fried, Bois, or Elkins. It deals with the questions of art/politics, power, gaye, and interpretation.
