Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations..

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Evaluation of individual exercises during the semester, checking the deadline, final seminar work. General knowledge of explained topics and recommended literature. Ability to describe the type and critically see both positives and negatives. Evaluation of suitability of practical application.

Course curriculum

2nd semester
Continuation of block letters. Literal titling type. Theory: Czech titling type, problem of accents. Typographic minimum.

Aims

Further development of knowledge and skills in reference to the course Type I. Emphasis is put on drawing and design of letters (type) as well as on students´ own invention. Minimum of writing.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Attendance is mandatory.
