The Philosophy of Art and Aesthetics - Seminar

The course will be taught by Mgr. Ondřej Váša in 2009/10
This is not a systematic historical survey but focusing only on one out of many possible viewpoints - on that of philosophical thinking about art in correspondence with philosophy and aesthetics. We will look at certain thoughts and theses on particular examples, at their application into practice and at the possible difficulties.
The content: perception, corporeality and sensuality, concrete application of terminology (perspective, harmony, repreyentation, the author, truth, power, beauty)

None. However, students are recommended to obtain a credit from Introduction to aesthetics and philosophy.
