Production Machines and Equipment

The course deals with the following topics: Types of machines for metal forming - mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic machines. It Describes the machine parts, their basic elements, possibilities of using for technological metal forming processes. The course presents also presses, hammers, machines for sheet metal forming and the other special machines.
Also dealt with are the properties of a machine for machining in connection with used technology of production. Basic computation for the choice of machine is discussed as well as basic elements of productive machines, joined equipment, describing of types of machine for machining.

Knowledge of machines for machining and forming, of their possibilities and using in the industry

Prerequisites

Knowledge of machining and forming technologies. Knowledge of pfysical, statics, kinematic and dynamic rules. Knowledge of stress analysis. Basic knowledge of mechanization amd automation. Application of machines in production lines.

Aims

The aim of the course is to make students familiar with the types of machine for machining and forming and to acquaint them with the design principles, funkction, properties and using of machines in the industry. Using of NC machines.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Attendance at exercises is necessary . Missed lessons may be compensated for via a make-up tasks by agreement with the teacher.
