Selected Essay from Technology of Building Constructions

Selection of new building technological processes in the course of realisation of building units with special constructional systems. Progressive processes in selected works as to materials and technologies following from up-to-date knowledge of constructional research and technical development. Experimental verification of the actual state of the existing solutions for construction technology and its evaluation.

Entry knowledge

Knowledge of technology processes in inside and finishing works and basic knowledge of the reconstruction of buildings.

Aims

Making the student acquainted with new technology processes, application of new materials and stuffs. To the lectures company representatives are regularly invited to demonstrate special application of new materials based on the latest knowledge of the science. Specific characteristics of these materials are referred to as well as possible differences in application compared to traditional technology processes.

Syllabus

The contents of each of exercises covers specialized lectures of invited professionals aimed at making the students acquainted with the latest trends in construction and application of this knowledge in the semester thesis. This course is based on the principles of working with audio-video technology. 1.–4. The Course commencement, an assignment of particular topics to PhD students, research activity of selected technology. 5.–8. Consultation about selected topics in terms – individual terms. 9.–11. Discovery of the documments and completion of the work. 12.–13. Verification of the disposed final version of the presentation.
