Diploma Seminar

FAST-HE18Acad. year: 2023/2024

The subjects consists of several blocks. First part deals with contemporary advanced measuring techniques, methods, and data evaluation. Second part covers the testing of measurements results, and estimation of error characteristics. Following part deals with contemporary methods for mapping, and for cadastre of real estates. Last part is dedicated to problems of solving the themes of assigned diploma theses.

Aims

Integration and deepening of knowledge obtained in basic subjects of geodesy and cartography studies. The subject is focused on main geodetic works, and on applications in engineering geodesy and cadastre. Emphasis is put to contemporary geodetic measuring techniques, and to individual work of students.

student will present four selected topics and prepare a four opposition to any performance issues. At the end of the course will present the results of their diploma thesis.
