Digital and net media will be primarily looked upon as programmed (and programming) media whose cultural context cannot be reduced to related characteristics with other modern media (print, photography, fiml).

Aims

Students will study a collection of elementary texts, cultural and artistic practices which share the approach to digital media based on the shift of attention from the screen surface to processes taking place behid it, that is, the image of software.
Theoretical knowledge of "software studies", methodology of new media and digital works of art.
