Course detail

Technology of Operating with Earthwork Machines

FSI-NT0Acad. year: 2020/2021

The course introduces with the rock properties and classification by the exploitability, with the methods of the soil disintegration and proper usage of the individual earthwork machines according to the earthwork type and extent of the earthwork. The course introduces the operating systems and the control elements of the earthwork machines. This course is obligatory for the students applying for the earthwork machines driving licence.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will be able to the consider earth properties and use suitable machines and technologies for their disintegration and manipulation. They will be also able to the operate and service earthwork machines according to the safety precautions.

Students are required to have basic knowledge of a physics, machine parts and their mechanism and physics of the materials.
