History of Art up to 18th Century

The course introduces the beginnings of the history of art and its development into the 18th century. Attention is paid to the terminology of art, the characteristics of the styles and their periodization. The study of prehistoric art, the art of antiquity, the art of the Early Christian and Byzantine art, the early Middle Ages, Romanesque and Gothic art (architecture, sculpture, painting, art crafts in European countries and in our country), Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo.
