Specialized project

In the subject „Specialized project“, the student creating a building-technological project will apply the knowledge acquired from the subjects directed to the technology and realization of buildings. The resulting product is a complete project planning design of ordered construction work applying the knowledge of new technologies and materials.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of designing and planning of building constructions, traffic constructions, and utility services. Knowledge of execution of construction processes, of the requirements for their readiness before execution, principles of technology procedures, construction processes, their sequence and links, their quality requirements.
Modelling of technology and time structure of construction production process, production area and sources needed for realization, with computer technology application. Planning, optimising and management of building production.

Course curriculum

Recent situation in technical preparation of constructions
Division of construction in construction units, their characteristic features
Coordination of the construction situation (existing situation, new situation, utility services, legend)
Construction technology study (STS) – site description, methodology of processing of individual STS documents, pre-production and production construction preparation.
Main technology phases of construction – design proposal.
Basic concept of site operations.
Selection of a crane for construction, securing of site transportation.
Calculation of maximum electric input power for site operation, calculation of maximum water consumption for site facilities.
Time and financial construction schedule, productivity of personnel
Division of financial costs and workers in main technology phases.
Processing of bill of quantities for the planned construction
Technology regulation for particular basic technology process

Aims

·Acquiring knowledge and practical skills for elaboration of construction – technology study and selected parts of construction-technology plan necessary for efficient construction realization.
·Analysis of the main technology phases of construction, principle concept of site operations, creation of time and financial construction schedule, gross budget of basic sources.
