Administrative Law

FAST-2V4Acad. year: 2020/2021

Course is conceived in general form that is able to reflect changes in reform of public administration. Contains five issues.
Fist one is directed to historical abstract of public administrations in the Czech Republic from 1850 to the end of eighties in 20 century including function assessment.
Second part consists of characteristic of administrative law and its delimitation. Comment of basic questions that bear on public administration and local autonomy.
Third part is oriented to public administrative achievement in point of subjects, organization and basic activity realization.

2.-4. Definition and characteristic of fundamental terminology in administrative law
5. Organisation, competence and scope of action of civil service authorities
6.-8. Organisation, competence and scope of action of municipal authorities
9.-11. Administrative conduct
12. Juridical review of administrative decisions
13. Selected segments of civil service

Aims

To understand to fundamental principles, elements and function of public administration from regional and interest autonomy and civil service point of view. Knowledge about rules and procedures connected with administrative conduct including juridical control of decisions made by administrative body.
