Project Management

The course is focused particularly on the following topics:
- how to plan and manage the project in the right way
- how to analyse the main risks of the project and solve the problems
- how to build up a perfect working group, communicate effectively, chair meetings
- how to complete the project purpose

Learning outcomes of the course unit
Students will be capable (on the basic level) of drawing-up the project aims, schedule and budget, performing the risk and SWOT analysis, applying the Logframe. They will be given information on the main issues of project requirements. The course will be focused on the main parts of project controlling and closing.
Prerequisites
The subject knowledge on the secondary school level is required.

Starting the project. Planning the project. Managing the project when in progress. The project controlling. Closing the project
Aims
Students will be able to participate competently in project implementation. Their professional competence wil be extended by knowledge of basic management skills. This fact is very important for every member of a project team.
