Students will have a basic overview of the history and present of gender studies in artistic theory and historiography, they will be able to characterize key figures and the changes of concepts in feminist and queer studies in art history in Czech and world context.

Lectures accompanied with slides of reproductions of the key works are supported with class discussions. In case of distant teaching, the lectures are goping to be held on-line via MS Teams and the students present their papers on-line (without submitting it in writing).

Students will be assigned to present a paper (15 minutes)on a chosen topic at the end of the semester and they will submit its writen version (5 norm pages at least).
