Diploma seminar for bachelors is a support for the creation of textual part of the bachelor thesis. Supervisors guide students to articulate the core structure of the text and through its subsequent development; they encourage students to work with appropriate resources and to adhere to the principles of professional work with text.

Learning outcomes of the course unit
Students will write a textual part of the bachelor thesis documentation, which serves as a counterpart of the final output of the bachelor's study both with its scope and complexity.
Prerequisites
Ability to work with structured information, work with scholar texts, ability come up with one's own theoretical reflections.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
After the introductory meeting and lectures, where the students are acquainted with the course of the seminar, with the division between the consultants and the requirements for the content and form of the text part of bachelor thesis documentation, the course takes the form of individual consultations or colloquial form. The consultations are based on individual work on texts that take into account feedback from consultants.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
The prerequisite for granting the credit is the submission of the completed text, which contains the required content components and meets the requirements of both factual and formal accuracy.

Course curriculum
1. Making students acquainted with the requirements for the content and form of the text part of the bachelor thesis.
2. Introducing / repeating the rules of working with scholarly texts.
3. Individual consultations aimed at formulating the curriculum on which the text will be built.
4. Individual consultations aimed at selecting resources, working with them and writing the text itself.
Aims
The aim of the seminar is to create a textual part of the final thesis.
Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
Attendance at introductory lectures and subsequent individual consultations is mandatory.
