Statistical Process Control

Identification of the processes, statistical charts, batch and single part production. Significant charts of unsubstantial products and processes (activities). Random and systematic influences on processes, analysis of processes capability.

Understanding the principles of total quality management, process identification for statistical process control and the quality improvment.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of technology and materials. Knowledge of physics and applied statistics. Knowledge of quality management.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course is taught through lectures explaining the basic principles and theory of the discipline. Exercises are focused on practical topics presented in lectures.
According to the possibility of teaching can be organized lectures for students by practitioners and excursions to companies focused on activities related to the course content.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
The course unit credit requirements: Participation in seminars and submitting a seminar project. The exam has written and oral parts. Exam evaluation is graded on the ECTS grading scale: excellent (90-100 points), very good (80-89 points), good (70-79 points), satisfactory (60-69 points), sufficient (50-59 points), failed (0-49 points

Fundamental resources and tools of process control, methods of system and statistical analyses, identification process and, etc.
Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
Attendance in lectures is recommended. The attendance at seminars is compulsory. An alternative assignment may be given to students if the condition is not met (in justified cases).
