Knowledge Management

The course focuses on explaining the basic theoretical concepts related to the management of knowledge and its practical application in the company. The emphasis is on obtaining, using, storing and sharing knowledge. The issue of knowledge management is handled separately. First, it focuses on the description of knowledge management environment outside the organization (knowledge-based economy, knowledge society, learning region) and subsequently within the organization (knowledge organization, learning organization, knowledge strategy, market knowledge, knowledge worker, tools and knowledge management). The course also provides basic information on the integration of knowledge management with other managerial disciplines, such as with design, innovation, operational, stress and time management.

Teaching is carried out through lectures that consist of interpretations of basic principles, methodology of given discipline, problems and their exemplary solutions.

Aims

Cílem předmětu je:
a) Seznámit studenty s významem znalostí pro firmu a jejich management.
b) Seznámit studenty se základními koncepcemi managementu znalostí.
c) Seznámit studenty se základními metodami a nástroji managementu znalostí.
d) Prezentovat nové trendy managementu znalostí.
e) Prezentovat integraci znalostního managementu s dalšími manažerskými disciplínami.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Checking the results of individual work on assigned tasks. In the case of excused absence, the teacher may set in justified cases a replacement condition, usually working out of a partial task.
