Learning outcomes of the course unit
Student will accomplish the aim of the subject if he achieves a pre-intermediate level of Russian both in vocabulary and grammar and if he is also able to read, translate and make slightly difficult Russian texts.
Prerequisites
Mastery of General Russian within the Russian language A1 - 1 and Russian language A1 - 2 subjects.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Grammar and vocabulary is practised in an interactive way, with emphasis on conversation. Development of communication and listening skills through interactive audio-visual technologies.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
Students are required to be active during the lessons, do homework and improve their language skills using online courses on Moodle (grammar presentations, extended vocabulary, online grammar, vocabulary, listening and reading exercises, online tests,..).
The course will be finished by credit, which can be obtained on the basis of attendance (maximum of 3 absences) or, in case of exceeding 3 absences, on the basis of writing a credit test, which will test the students´ knowledge of grammar and vocabulary done during the semester.

2.L2-revision of topic School, Classes - reading and listening of texts, new vocabulary, school subjects
3.L2-Classes, timetable, dialogues, inflexion of pronouns (who, what), prepositional phrases
4.L2-Classes, types of school, inflexion of nouns (masculine, feminine gender, singular number), revision of grammar and vocabulary, additional text, role playing
5.L3-Orientation in a city, dialogues, underground in Moscow, conjugation of verbs "go/drive, can"
6.L3-Means of transport, infinitive clauses, revision of grammar and vocabulary, additional text, role playing
7.L4-Shopping, dialogues, exercises, conjugation of verbs "buy, ask, take", 1st and 2nd case of plural number of some nouns
8.L4-Shopping, clothes, flowers, food, flexible "-o-,-e-" in nouns, 4th case of plural number of inanimate and animate nouns, revision
9.L5-Moscow - sights, texts, exercises, inflexion of nouns (neuter gender, singular number)

Aims
The aim of the subject is to achieve a pre-intermediate level of Russian both in vocabulary and grammar. Then the ability to read, translate and make slightly difficult Russian texts.
Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
Students´ knowledge is checked during the semester by writing homework and active participation in the lessons.
