Czech language 3

The course of Czech language runs through the first four semesters. The main method is a direct one,with the ample use of audio-visual teaching aids. If necessary, the explanation is based on English language. Great effort is exerted to lead students to comprehend the flexibility of the Czech language, its conjugation, declination and gramatical genders.

Learning outcomes of the course unit
Students will be able to make use of Czech language in everyday life, in shops, restaurants, hotels, at schools, banks, air-ports, railway stations, custom offices, at the doctor's etc.

The subject knowledge on the secondary school level is required.

Aims
The objective of the subject is to teach students to handle on their own the problems of everyday life in our country as soon as possible. Afterwards, the aim is to perfect their knowledge of Czech language to enable them to take part, to the greater extent, in local social and cultural events.
