Computational Modeling of the Turbulent Flow

FSI-9VMTAcad. year: 2018/2019

Course is aimed on CFD using the finite volume method. Principles of numerical solution of basic differential equations, accuracy of discretization schemes, matrix solutions are presented. Approaches to turbulence modeling and blade cascades modeling in turbomachinery are discussed in detail. Theoretical background is studied together with practical application ('hands on') using commercial CFD software.
