Air chemistry I
FCH-BCO_CHOAcad. year: 2018/2019
Chemistry and physics of atmosphere - definition basic access. Identification fundamental meteorology, transmission energy and masses in atmospheres. Sources pollution and way diffusion harmful substances in atmospheres. Chemistry of main types of atmospheric pollutants. Biospheric areas and influence over troposphere. Microclimatic conditions and influence over troposphere. Global disturbances and mutual influence distant reach. Greenhouse effect, smogs and problems stratospheric ozone.
Learning outcomes of the course unit
Increase knowledge and skills of students is especially true in those areas.
a) Graduates of the course will be to understand the interaction between the atmosphere in relation to the transfer of energy and matter.
b) Graduates will be based on their knowledge to predict load troposphere using technical analysis.
c) The student will be able to predict the effects of pollution sources on a local scale.
d) The student will acquire knowledge, which is necessary prerequisite for the application of both in scientific and in technical practice
e) Completion of the course is a prerequisite for degree courses MCO_TOZ and MCO_TEO, study program.
Successful completion of the course is conditional on the knowledge of physic, organic, anorganic and enviromentl chemistry

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course uses teaching methods in form of Lecture - 2 teaching hours per week. The e-learning system (LMS Moodle) is available to teachers and students. During the semester, students can use the tutorial tutorial as needed.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
The study is completed by a final oral examination and consultation from the range relief materials corresponding to the year of study.
Language of instruction
1st Air - the basic component of the environment
2nd Information systems and legislation in the Czech Republic
3rd Atmosphere origin, development, basic components and their physical and chemical properties
4th Energy transfer in the atmosphere
5th The movement of atmospheric masses - Meteorology - Weather

The course aims to provide students with advanced information about the chemistry of the atmosphere and the interrelationship long range. Through lectures and visits to selected workplace or localities students will gain knowledge about the transmission of energy and matter in the atmosphere and the formation and occurrence of extreme situations in the atmosphere.
Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
Attendance at lectures is not compulsory, but is recommended.
Check the instruction in the combined study is carried out at least three mandatory consultations during the semester.
Checking in full-time education is provided through the discussion forums at lectures, after the end of contiguous block of lectures.
It is intended for consultation on the topics for study program students, checking a comprehensive understanding of the issue is in the form of study may draw essay.
It is intended for consultation for full-time students.
