Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Presentations, individual consultations and discussions. Collaborative studio art projects. Focusing on process of making an art object, an event, or a situation visible in one’s imagination by mentally constructing or recalling an image. Experimenting and making connections between the concrete and the abstract.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

A credit is awarded on the basis of attendance and active participation on diploma thesis consultations.

Course curriculum

Students are working on a thesis. They must regularly consult with external consultants, head of the studio and the opponent. The greatest emphasis is put on the students' ability to reflect on their own artistic activities and orientation of the contemporary art scene.
Mandatory studio meetings, individual consultations and discussions about students' major work. The studio visits by authorities from the art word.

Aims

To reach the best output for the master degree thesis.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Obligatory attendance at the studio meetings (80%). Replacement of missed lessons is done through individual consultations beyond the scope of the scheduled lessons.
