Studio Follow-up I - Intermedia - summer

FaVU-M1IN-LAcad. year: 2018/2019

Students work with the help of teachers to establish contacts with a wide network of personalities who form the field of contemporary art. They learn to work with theoreticians, critics, curators as well as technology and cultural managers. They also learn about where to look for social, psychological, work and legal help.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

In the summer semester of the first year of the master's degree, the student carries out his/her own artistic research and actively participates in common atelier tasks.

Prerequisites

The student must be able to present the intention of practical master's thesis for consultation.

Work on projects, excursions, individual presentations.

Semester exam project.

Course curriculum

One´s own artistic programme. Specification of students´ autonomy. Retrosystems versus one´s own identity.
Discussion on the orientation of diploma work.
1) Issues of abstract painting.

Independent realisation of the tasks coming out of the students´creative nature.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
