Course curriculum

1. Theory of similitude of hydrodynamic phenomenon
2. Hydraulic research methods, types of cycles
3.-4. Measuring and evaluation devices
5.-6. Modelling research of pressure systems
7.-8. Modelling research of river courses
8.-10. Modelling research of operational structures of dams
11.-12. Research on unsteady processes, rotating and moving

13. Measuring in sites

Aims

Students gain knowledge of theory of hydrodynamic phenomenons modelling including possible reduction of similitude scale. Overview of application of modern measuring techniques including contactless methods (laser, ultrasonic) for identification of flow structure. The measuring technology will be introduced to students in laboartory.
